Onboarding Training Structure ANZ 2024

To get familiar with Uptick, begin your journey in the Uptick Academy and become certified.

The core sessions of this training structure inform the workflows typically involved with setting up and carrying out maintenance contracts, defect rectifications and their directly associated features and workflows. See the diagram below that outlines the processes or Uptick's core workflows (click on the image to download a PDF version of the diagram).

Overview of Onboarding Structure

The training sessions are designed to help you get fundamental understanding of how to operate Uptick. The training schedule is a set of 6 sessions running at 90 minutes each, comprised of:

  • 3 core sessions on operating the desk environment

  • 1 session on operating the app

  • 1 elective session, which is focused on a limited selection from the available lit of electives

  • 1 hands-on enablement session where you demonstrate your understanding so far and are given guidance to clear up any confusion or problems you ran into while learning to operate Uptick

App Basics learning paths:

  • Viewing, performing and finalising tasks

  • Completing an I&T task on the app (pass/fail assets, adding remarks and products against remarks, photos)

Elective Topics Session

The session covers elective topics of your choosing, of which you can prioritise by importance a minimum of 3 and no more than 5 topics. For the topics that you couldn't fit into your selection priority, all electives have information resources available.

Enablement Session

The enablement session is your opportunity to share your screen, be more hands-on with the product, and demonstrate your understanding informed by previous sessions. Ideally, this should be focused on the core knowledge developed in the first 3 sessions. During the enablement session you will be able to:

  • Raise questions to help clarify any parts of Uptick you have trouble operating

  • Go over the top 3 features you want to get more familiar with

Remarks

Add common reasons for defects and their recommended resolutions for your technicians to select from, saving time out in the field and speeding up the defect quoting process.

Technicians submit and adjust work hours through timesheets, which auto-populate with task sessions, allowing for tracking of billable hours, leave, and other activities.
