The information can be easily accessed via any device using the camera and scanning the QR code.

Once you have talked to us and the bSecure stickers have been bought, you can start using the bSecure feature.

Asset specific bSecure

Asset bSecure allows the servicing history for that asset to all be kept in one place and easily accessible to anyone that scans the sticker. This is a great selling tool for you as your client can be kept in the loop at all times.

To create this portal, place a bSecure sticker on the physical asset, open the asset in the Uptick app and click 'scan' and it's done! The sticker is now connected to your Uptick asset, and now when the sticker is scanned on the physical asset, information about that asset is accessible.

When re-attending site, the physical sticker on the asset now ALSO acts as a finding tool for your technicians. They just need to open the task in the Uptick app, use the barcode scanner in the Work tab to simply scan the sticker onsite, and that asset will popup in your Uptick app to start servicing.

The history that is shown to any external parties when scanning the sticker onsite, is built by us so that all your private information is not exposed, only the information that is already either in the logbooks onsite or isn't harmful for anyone to know.

The below information will be visible: The most recent photo taken of the asset, the type and date of service that has been completed and any active remarks. If you are using the Lifecycle Analysis tool, it will also show the expected lifecycle of that asset.

Property specific bSecure

Properties can also have bSecure stickers attached to them, it works much the same as the asset bSecure as it allows you to store all the public knowledge information about that property.

This can be set up via placing a bSecure sticker on the property in a safe place such as inside the existing logbook cabinet.

Firstly, a sticker needs to be connected to a property via the Uptick App. Your technician needs to stick the sticker in a safe place and then open the Uptick App > open a task > view that task's property and click 'Connect'. This will prompt them to scan the sticker they have just stuck on the property somewhere.

Once connected, from the web view files can be managed on the bSecure tab of a property. Any documents you add into that folder will be exposed to anyone that scans the property bSecure sticker onsite. This doesn't have any access control and is open to anyone that scans the sticker, so only upload files that you want made openly available to the public.

Note: This feature doesn't support folder structures, only individual files.
