Best way to identify an asset or property
There are three ways to put a scannable code on an asset, property or logbook.
Order bSecure stickers from Uptick. Roll of UptickID label stickers supplied by the Uptick Support team and charged as a once off to your subscription.
Request bSecure codes and print your own stickers. Uptick provides the codes at no charge and you arrange the design and printing with your own supplier. See bSecure below.
Use the Barcode field on an asset. Apply your own barcode or QR code stickers and scan them into the Barcode field. Nothing needs to be ordered from Uptick.
A bSecure sticker can also be scanned by anyone with a standard QR reader to view limited public information such as compliance status and service dates. A code stored in the Barcode field is recognised only inside the Uptick mobile app.

Can I use my own barcodes instead of bSecure stickers?
Yes. Assets and classic logbooks have a Barcode field that accepts any supported barcode or QR code, so you can use stickers you have printed yourself or codes already on the equipment. In the Uptick mobile app, scan the code into the field or enter it using Manually Edit. Scanning is not available from the desk view.
A code stored in the Barcode field is recognised only inside the Uptick mobile app. It does not display public information when scanned with a standard QR reader.

This allows the servicing history for that asset to all be kept in one place and easily accessible to anyone that scans the sticker. This is a great selling tool for you as your client and tenants can be kept in the loop at all times.
Open the Uptick App > open a task > tap the Work tab
Tap on an asset > Edit Asset > tap the Scan or Manually Edit
The camera will activate, allowing you to scan the sticker. Alternatively, type in the code

When reviewing remarks, red signals that the remark is unresolved, while green indicates it's resolved. On service tasks, green means pass, orange indicates no test was performed, and red means fail.

Reach out to the Uptick Support team in the chat accessible via ? icon in your Workspace or by emailing [email protected]. Please provide the following information:
Delivery Address.
Name of Recipient.
Total # of Rolls required.
Written consent authorising the direct debit of the sticker value and any associated postage fees from the account linked to your subscription.
Once the request is submitted, our team will review the order details and confirm the delivery address. If any information is missing, we'll reach out for clarification.

When the order is ready, we'll ship it to you and send you a tracking number.
The cost of the stickers, in addition to any applicable postage fees, will be reflected in your next invoice and debited accordingly.
Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your shipment. Delivery typically occurs within 5-7 business days, though delays due to external factors can occur.

Yes. If you would rather have a third party produce stickers in your own design, the Uptick Support team can supply a set of bSecure codes at no charge. This comes to you in an excel format.
Email [email protected] with the number of codes you need. You arrange the design and printing with your supplier and cover those costs.
Codes supplied this way behave the same as the stickers Uptick sells.
