Apply a charge to a task on iOS and Android

Setup

You will need the following permission in your security group: Can see all tasks. Click here to learn about permissions and security groups.


IOS: How to add a product to a task

Products added to an asset or remark will appear on the Products tab to be performed:

To add a product to an asset: Find and click to open the asset. Then navigate to the Products sub-tab, click + Add Product and select it. Remember to click Save on the asset.

To add a product to a remark: Select Use and Charge option on the remark. Remember to click Done on the remark and then Save on the asset.

1. Open the task, navigate to the Products tab, and click Add.

2. Click on the Product field and use the Supplier, Category, and Type filters or Search to find and choose the product.

3. Tap on the Asset field to connect the product to the existing asset, or leave blank for it to be General Repairs. Then click Save.


IOS: How to use a product on a task

Open the task and navigate to the Products tab. Then toggle each product as Performed to mark it for invoicing.


ANDROID: How to add a product to a task

Products can be added to a remark via the Use and Charge option to appear on the Repairs tab for performing. Be sure to click Done on the remark and then Save on the asset.

1. Open the task, navigate to the Repairs tab, then click the three dots in the top-right corner and select Add Product.

2. Click on the Product field and use the Supplier, Category, and Type filters or Search to find and choose the product.

3. Tap on the Asset field to connect the product to the existing asset, or leave blank for it to be General Repairs. Then click Save.


ANDROID: How to use a product on a task

Open the task and navigate to the Repairs tab. Then tick each product as Performed to mark it for invoicing.
