App: Create a defect quote

How to create a defect quote from a task using remarks with suggested products for quote on iOS and Android

Setup

You will need the Defect Quoting module turned on in your workspace. If you do not see this in your main menu, reach out to [email protected].

You will also need the following permissions in your security group:

  • Can see all tasks.

  • Can create quotes.

  • Can view pricing information to review previous defect quotes.

  • Can create follow-on repair tasks to create a task from the defect quote.

IOS: How to create the defect quote

1. Navigate to the Finalisation tab within the task.

2. Tap Create Defect Quote.

To view previous defect quotes, tap View Past in the top right corner.

3. Complete the Scope of Works and Service Group fields.

Only those remarks created on the task with a product selected as Suggest for Quote will be available.

3. All suggested items are selected by default; tap Deselect All to select specific remarks.

4. Review the remarks and quoted products, and Add product under General repairs if those are not to be used for a specific remark.

5. Tap Submit, then select Save as Draft or Create New Task.

ANDROID: How to create the defect quote

1. Navigate to the Finalise tab within the task.

2. Tap Create Defect Quote.

To view previous defect quotes, tap the speech bubble icon in the top right corner.

3. Complete the Scope of Works and Service Group fields.

Only those remarks created on the task with a product selected as Suggest for Quote will be available.

3. All suggested items are selected by default; tap Deselect All to select specific remarks.

4. Review the remarks and quoted products, and Add product under General repairs if those are not to be used for a specific remark.
