The time spent on the task, whether you're travelling to the site or performing the task itself, is tracked as a session. A session starts when you tap the play icon on the task and should be the first thing you do before engaging with any inspections or repairs.

Session Timer

This is important for tracking the time spent on each task and contributes to the timesheets that need to be submitted at the end of the day. Always consider the following regarding the session timer:

  • The timer should be paused and run again between travelling and performing sessions.

  • Use the Mark as Performed button when finalising the task to change the status of the task to Performed and stop the timer.

Task Status

Changing the status of the task is important to the process of tracking tasks that are In Progress or Performed. The status of the task is changed by tapping in the current status and selecting a different one from the list. It's essential to initiate the following status changes while engaging with a task.

  • Once on-site and the timer is started, change the status of the task to In Progress

  • Once work is completed and all other finalisation steps are performed, either tap Mark as Performed in the Finalisation tab or change the status of the task to Performed
