Setup
You will need the BSecure module turned on in your workspace. If you do not see this in your main menu, reach out to [email protected].
You will also need the following permissions in your security group:
Can see all tasks.
Can create assets.
Can update and archive assets.
Can create and update properties.

Barcodes and QR codes are scannable patterns that encode alphanumeric information, such as serial numbers or reference IDs.
bSecure stickers, a type of QR code with enhanced coding, offer this same in-app functionality but also allow anyone with a regular QR reader to scan and view limited public information, such as compliance status and service dates, without exposing sensitive business data.

Add an asset or find and click to view the asset, then navigate to the Edit Asset sub-tab on the asset and click Scan or Manually Edit below bSecure or Barcode. Remember to click Save in the top right corner.

Navigate to the Work or Products tabs on the task, then click the Barcode scanner icon in the bottom left and scan the barcode, QR Code or bSecure sticker to view the asset.
