  1. When viewing a Property, click on the Assets tab to be taken to a list of the Assets on the Property.
    โ€‹

  2. Click + Quick Add, which will open the Create Asset popup window that provides a limited set of fields to be filled to speed up the process.

Type

Asset type, required field

Variant

A variant of that asset type, if applicable

Label

Asset label (see automatic labelling)

Location

Asset location
โ€‹eg. Building B, First Floor, Lobby
(see how location can enhance app usage)

Contractor

Add in a Contractor if this asset will be subcontracted for servicing. If data is not entered here, it will default to your company and can be changed when required.

Internal Reference

If applicable

Serial

If applicable

Barcode

If applicable

Base Date

Asset base date, required for asset based servicing.

3. Once you've finalised the data, click create which will close the popup. If you want to add several assets, simply hit create and add another. This bodes well for adding multiple assets with similar detail as the modal maintains the information that was entered in for the previous asset.

4. Once saved, further details can be added or updated by simply navigating to the asset in your asset list and selecting edit.

You have the option to open the full form which takes you to a new page with more detail if required.

Please note that newly created assets on a property will take one day before they can be searched in the property asset list.
