Welcome to the July release of our Workforce mobile app!

Users will automatically receive this update over a seven day period, with a plan to start on Tuesday 25th of July.

We are no longer supporting older devices

A quick reminder to make sure that your device is up to date with its system software. Being up to date means your device will be taking advantage of the latest features and security fixes by the device manufacturer.

Android: as of the next September release update, we will only be supporting devices running Android 10 or newer. Android 10 was released in 2019 and most modern devices will already be running it.

iOS: Currently only supports devices running iOS 15 and newer. Most devices in the last nine years are capable of running iOS15.

Changes and Improvements

This release brings with it a number of enhancements to both the iOS and Android versions of the Workforce app focusing on helping make your day more productive, while also aligning the look and feel of our two apps.

Property Details

  • The property detail screens have had a facelift to align the look and feel of both Android and IOS apps, helping staff who interchange between the two. It is now also easier to find property information and history with collapsed navigation and consistent ordering between the edit and view screens.

In addition:

  • The property's coordinate pin can now be changed post being set, allowing field staff to amend errors and set a more accurate location for larger sites. Staff will need the 'Can Change Property' permission to be able to do this.

  • Pre-visit Accreditation requirements set up on the property or client are now displayed on the property page.

  • Onsite schedules such as occupancy permits and other maintenance documentation can now be added and edited in the field, reducing workload in the office.

  • PDFs and other file types can now be uploaded to properties, provided they are no larger than 5MB per file. This will be available on Andriod next release.

Other Improvements

  • Maximise your workflow by using our Estimated Duration filter and sort function to find tasks that are close and quick to complete.

Only customers who populate estimated duration will find benefit in this.

  • To reduce admin time in the office and help managers understand costs, it's now required to set products when creating purchase orders. We suggest some sort of 'Sundry' product where something isn't stocked or known.

  • We've improved the product search, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

  • iOS only, on Android soon. Completed forms can now be downloaded, adding support for contracts that require upload to external systems while onsite.
