Our new Workforce Performance dashboard

We’ve released our third version of the Workforce Performance dashboard. This release focuses on each technician's performance for a calendar month, and allows you to see their most important KPIs.

  • Analyse workforce productivity: Get a clearer view of each technician's productivity, including their on-site and off-site time, and how these compare against their estimated hours. Analyse task sessions for better insights into technician efficiency.

  • Leverage essential metrics for performance reviews: Access key metrics like total tasks performed, invoice values, assets serviced, and remarks raised to support your growth and development conversations.

  • Asset and Remark Tracking: Keep track of the total assets serviced and remarks raised by each technician across customers.

  • Review Performance Trends: Review current and previous months' data to analyse trends.

  • This release is live and available to all customers now, please give us feedback if there are any other trends you would like to see.

Your feedback on the individual view will be used to improve the entire workforce performance view shortly.

  • Create customised profitability report views! You can now group and deselect any columns you don’t wish to include which can then be favourited and returned to at any time. For simpler extracts, only selected columns will appear in CSV when downloaded.

  • It’s now much easier to understand what payments are coming up (estimated), ready to invoice (billable) and invoiced for prepaid tasks.

  • Any task custom fields you have added to your system will now appear in your report columns if you wish to extract them.

  • Downloading a large number of tasks is now faster, requiring fewer filters to be added.

  • Sales Person can now be set on service and defect quotes, allowing better reporting on salesperson attributed gross revenue, profit and margin on approved repairs.

Simply go to any of our profit reports, click ‘More task details’ and drag the Sales Person column into the grouping option.

Billing contracts

  • When doing your monthly check of billing contracts due for review, our quick filters now show both active and inactive billing contracts, surfacing contracts which have already ended that month.

  • We’ve fixed the issue where the line item download exported all billing contracts rather than just contracts being filtered into the list.

  • Xero: To copy how Xero raises credits, when a credit is raised in Uptick, the reference field will now populate with the original invoice’s reference when pushed into Xero.

  • Xero & Myob: To ensure credit PDFs can be sent to clients via Myob and Xero when required, the original invoice’s description and number will be automatically added as a lineitem when pushed into Xero & Myob, just like invoices.

Quickbooks accounting integration. We now support syncing the VOIDED status of invoices from Quickbooks into Uptick.

Clients, contractors and staff. You can now send welcome emails in bulk to contractors, clients and staff using the bulk edit on the People > Users page. This will also allow them to change their password from this email.
