Why are prompts not showing on a task?

1. Control Panel setup troubleshooting

The service level is unticked for the prompt: When viewing a prompt set, the routines set against it will be displayed beside the prompts, with tickboxes for each service level. For each prompt, the appearance of the prompt on the task is determined by whether or not the service level is ticked.

You can set which asset type the prompt set appears for by going to Control Panel > Prompt Sets > View > Update > Select applicable asset types in the Asset types field.

2. Task Work Tab troubleshooting

Prompt questions cannot be added directly to a task. They appear automatically once two things are in place:

  • The prompt set is configured correctly in the Control Panel — see Set up Prompt Sets and Questions.

  • The task has assets and applicable routines on its Work tab.

If the assets with applicable routines weren't automatically added through Create I&T task, you can add them directly via Asset Maintenance or Routine Servicing to the work tab of the task. See Manage the work tab of the task for full steps.

3. Non-contracted major servicing on the App troubleshooting

If the task was generated from the Non-Contracted Servicing dashboard and includes ad-hoc major servicing levels, technicians must open the asset on the Products / Repairs tab to see the prompt questions on the App.
