The Uptick release for November brings improvements to stock control and routines.
Changes and improvements to come!
Stock Control & Warehousing
Release date: Thursday the 23rd
We’re releasing our third version of stock control with a range of improvements:
You can now set a “home facility” for vans so that any stock they require is clearly visible in their home facility for you to transfer or order more.
Warehouses > Select the Van you want to view and update the Home Facility
Easily see all the required stock you need to transfer or reserve in bulk, to keep inventory levels positive across all warehouses.
You can now raise a purchase order from a facility warehouse for stock flagged as required based on task requirements or minimum restock levels.
You can now confirm stock as "received" on a purchase order by adding a docket. We have simplified this process so that it is correctly added to the warehouse and not left “on order”.
You can now enable a new cost tracking method for stock in your warehouse: “FIFO” or “First In First Out”.
When stock is docketed from a purchase order, the costs are recorded in the warehouse alongside the stock coming in.
When a service task is performed on a Task with stock, the material costs will be updated from the warehouse, ensuring the margin table has the most accurate figures.
You can now see the total value of all stock available in a warehouse
You can now see the Stock Value for each product within a warehouse
You can now bulk import stock counts & costs to warehouses.
Tools > Data Importer > Download the Stock Adjustment CSV TemplateEasily perform a stock take via the stock adjustments tool, which pre-fills the products in the warehouse, so you don’t need to add each one manually.
Easily audit stock movements with stock history
Routines
Release date: Thursday the 16th
You can now edit your routine configuration in the control panel.
Control Panel > Routines > Select your Routine Type and click Update
We've made a number of changes throughout the month that you may have noticed!
Purchase Orders
We’ve done some final clean-ups for purchase orders:
When a docket is added for either part or all of the goods, we will automatically move a purchase order into the Partially Received status or mark it as ‘All Goods Received’.
You can no longer add dockets if ‘all goods received’ is ticked.
Any product grouping issues on purchase order bills/dockets has been resolved.
You can view and download a PDF on a Partially Received purchase order.
Any delivery expenses added via the purchase order bill will now default to include tax.
Other quality-of-life improvements have been made to the system this month
To help staff make changes in bulk, we’ve added the ability to export billing contract items from the billing contract list.
We’ve built a page that helps you understand what mobile app versions your field and desk staff are on, whether they have GPS turned on and whether they are on app versions that are too old. Go to Control Panel > Account device audit.
Product custom fields can now be seen on the product catalogue list and csv download.
