In Uptick, there is the ability to create a 12A/BWOF each year based on guidelines provided by the regulatory bodies in New Zealand. This article outlines the the initial setup and explains where the 12A and BWOF certification documents get their data from.
Initial setup
Enable the ESMs module in extensions (this will be used to define and list your 12A's during the process)
If using Signoffs, enable this module (this can only be used with the ESMs).
Setup all users with their relevant IQP registration number if applicable via:
Users > View > Update (Preferences)IQP Registration Number (where applicable)
Title
Signature
Any other tweaks to the template will need to be marked up and submitted through our template process.
Generating a task
Add the applicable 12A's (which are the ESMs) to the properties required.
Add an appropriate routine to generate a task when the 12A/BWOF is required.
Generate task when required through normal process.
Perform all associated items you'd like to display on the 12A/BWOF from the tasks work tab.
Preview 12A/BWOF.
Dispatch 12A/BWOF report to client.

Where the BWOF populates from
Building information
Expiry Date | The task due date. |
Street Address of Building | Property > Location > Update The property Display Address as listed in the Location section of the property. |

Legal Description of land where building is located | Comes from Legal Description field on the property. |
Building Name | Comes from Building Name field on the property. If this field is left blank, it will default to the property name. |
Location of building within site Block number | Comes from Location of Building field on the property. |
Level/Unit Number | Comes from Level/Unit No. field on the property. |
The Maximum Number of Occupants that can safely use this building is | Comes from Occupancy Limit field on the property. |
Compliance Schedule No | Comes from Compliance Schedule No. field on the property. |
Lawful Use | Comes from Lawful Use field on the property.

Signatory details
Signature of agent, on behalf of and with the authority of the owner | Will use the signature of the author of the report as set up in step 3 of Before you get started at the top of this article. The author is the User that generates the report. |
