Work items can now be filtered using Asset Place. When an asset Location is setup using commas (e.g., "North Wing, Corridor A, Room 123") the filter will intelligently gather the locations and present them in a selectable list. This then allows field staff to get all work items for a particular place (e.g., all from "North Wing" or "North Wing, Corridor A") allowing them to quickly find and work through work items.

When setting the location of an asset it's important to keep in mind that each comma separated location is ranked highest to lowest. For example if you set the location of 2 assets like this:

  • Asset 1 Location: Building B, First Floor, Lobby

  • Asset 2 Location: Building B, Second Floor, Hallway

The Places filter in the app groups these locations so you can choose to see the assets on all of Building B, or all assets on Building B First Floor etc.
