How to consolidate existing tasks
Child tasks are linked under a parent task, streamlining invoicing and reporting, while maintaining individual task details and appointments.
Consider reviewing individual task details for accuracy before consolidating, especially ensuring consistent billing and client information across tasks.
Undoing Task Consolidation
Accidentally consolidated tasks? Follow these steps to unlink and revert tasks:
Open a child task from the consolidation.
Navigate to the Related Section and click Update.
Remove the parent task by clicking the 'X' next to its entry in the Parent Task field.
Save changes.
Repeat for all child tasks until the parent task is empty.
Delete or archive the parent task if it is no longer required.
This process ensures that any unintended consolidations are effectively reversed.
