How to dispatch to a client
1. Once the work is complete and it is time to issue reports and invoices, open the task and click Dispatch in the Process section.
2. Tick what the client receives: Invoice, Service reports, Defect quotes, Forms, Digital logbooks or Task files.
3. Review the drafted emails. Separate emails go to the right property contacts — reports to reporting contacts, the invoice to billing contacts. Edit the subject, message body, and To, CC and BCC addresses as needed. Billing and reporting requirements set on the client or property show here so you do not miss them.
4. Click Dispatch to client. Leave Mark Task as Complete and Archive Task ticked to close it out.
Nothing leaves Uptick until you click Dispatch to client. Archiving or completing a task also affects its child tasks.
Add or edit contacts without leaving dispatch
If a contact is missing or needs updating, click Manage contacts in the dispatch window to add or edit contacts inline, then continue the dispatch. Changes save back to the property or client record for future use. For the full steps, see How to send emails to a client.

How dispatch works
Dispatch draws on your Control Panel configuration (templates and accounting organisation) and Property setup (billing contracts, billing card, pricing and contacts), then produces three outcomes in one go:
The PDF invoice, reports and documents are emailed to the configured contacts.
Invoice details are sent to your accounting partner so payments can be monitored inside Uptick.
The task status changes to Complete and the task is archived, leaving only tasks that still need attention.
