Introducing the new 'Technician Activity' dashboard in the Workforce Performance Dashboard.

Overview

This new dashboard exists to provide a comprehensive understanding of technician activity throughout any given month.

This new dashboard provides a detailed summary of each technician's activity. It includes high-level metrics for overall outputs such as total tasks performed, total invoiced value, assets serviced, and remarks raised, as well as an intricate breakdown of task session activity.

Accessing the Dashboard

You can access this new dashboard by clicking into any Technician's row in the Workforce Performance table.


​Please note: The Daily Activity report, Maintenance Report, and the Billables report have moved into the new Tech Activity dashboard.

  1. The Maintenance report can be accessed by clicking into Assets Inspected

  2. The Billables reports can be accessed by clicking into Total Invoiced Value

  3. The Daily Activity report has now upgraded into the new Daily Activity Breakdown chart as seen below. You can still access the Day View by clicking into the columns of each day.

  1. Detailed Technician Overview: An in-depth look at individual technician's activities and performance.

    Note: Total Invoice Value and Total Gross Profit is sourced from Invoices sent in the specified time period where the selected technician was the Primary Technician.

  3. Strategic Decision-Making: Utilise historical data to identify trends, which can inform strategic decisions for workforce management.

FAQs

1. Does the dashboard show Tasks and Revenue from a Tech's Supporting Activity?

No, all data on the dashboard is a tech's primary activity data. Currently, the dashboard only shows Supporting activity invoices for the selected month. This can be accessed by clicking into the Average Invoiced Value card.

2. What is the difference between Total Task Value and Total Invoice Value?

3. How can I validate the data that I'm seeing on this dashboard?

  • You can clickthrough on Total Tasks into the All Tasks table to view all tasks performed for the selected month

  • Total Task Value for a specific month can also be found in the Task Profitability table by filtering to the same month using the Performed Before and Performed After filters.

Note: There is currently a time zone discrepancy between the Tech Activity Dashboard, Tasks Page and the Tasks Profitability page when trying to filter results to the same time period. Please experiment filtering to +/- 1 day around the start and end of the month to find parity between all pages. You might have to set Performed Before/After to the 30th of the previous month or to the 1st of the next month to view the same # of tasks and revenue/profit values (See example below)
