What is Programme Maintenance?
Programme Maintenance refers to tasks generated from routines—your scheduled, recurring compliance and maintenance work that's typically performed monthly, quarterly, or yearly. This includes inspections, preventative maintenance, and building compliance activities.
The Programme Maintenance Dashboard helps service managers track and understand the current state of these routine maintenance tasks in Uptick.
Accessing the Dashboard
Navigate to Insights and Reporting > Programme Maintenance Dashboard in the Uptick web platform.
By default, the dashboard displays data for all service groups combined. You can filter to a specific service group using the dropdown in the top right corner.
Note: Archived tasks are excluded from all views—only active tasks are displayed.
Key Features
1. Active Tasks Breakdown by Service Group
View active tasks for a selected calendar month and understand how your service groups are performing.
Filter options:
Task Stage - Switch between different stages to see a breakdown of each service group's tasks
Task Status - Click on a service group in the chart to see detailed status breakdowns (including any custom statuses you've configured)
Overdue Tasks - Select the "Overdue" checkbox to filter tasks that are overdue for the current month
Date View - Toggle between Created Date (default) or Due Date to see when tasks were created or when they're due
Task Category - Filter by specific categories (e.g., routine, callout, repair)
2. Programme Maintenance Health
Get a snapshot of your maintenance performance for the current month.
Key metrics:
Metric | Description |
Performance Rate | Percentage of routines completed on time before the due date |
Incomplete Rate | Percentage of routines that are due but not yet complete |
Performed Overdue | Percentage of routines that were completed after their due date |
Annual Performance Rate | Rolling 12-month performance rate for comparison |
These metrics help you quickly identify if your team is keeping up with scheduled maintenance or falling behind.
3. State of Due Tasks
See a day-by-day breakdown of task performance throughout the selected month.
Daily task states:
Status | Description |
On-time | Tasks performed on time before their due date |
Late | Tasks performed after their due date |
On-time-invoiced | Tasks performed on time and already invoiced |
Late-invoiced | Tasks performed late and already invoiced |
Due | Tasks not yet performed that are due on that date |
This view helps you spot patterns in task completion and identify days when your team may be overloaded.
4. Programme Maintenance Completion by Month
View a 12-month rolling summary of routine maintenance completion, showing whether work was completed early, on time, or late.
Column definitions:
Column | Description |
Due in month | Total routines due within the calendar month |
Done in month | Total routines completed within their due month |
Done outside month | Routines completed earlier or later than their due month |
