How to create multiple repair tasks from an approved defect quote

1. Navigate to Defect Quotes, filter the list by Approved status and view the approved defect quote.

2. Click + Create Task.

3. Deselect the line items not required on this repair task and untick Mark quote as Actioned, then click Continue.

4. Fill in the task details and click Create.

5. On the newly created repair task, navigate to the defect quote using the link in the Originated from field.

6. Continue creating the partial tasks, but remember to tick Mark quote as Actioned on the final task.

How to find the inspection a repair task came from

When the defect quote was raised from a different task, such as an inspection, the Originated from field on the repair task shows the quote reference, followed by raised from and the reference of that inspection task. Click either reference to open it.

Hover the inspection task reference to see how many remarks that task raised and how many are outstanding, along with the highest severity among the outstanding remarks. If the task raised no remarks, the hover shows No defects were identified on this task.

Click the outstanding count to open the property's active remarks, filtered to the defects raised on that inspection. Use the From original inspection switch in the window header, which shows the inspection task reference, to turn that filter off and list every active remark at the property.
