Some settings such as permission changes or your password being updated will not take effect until you've signed in again and therefore you will need properly sign out of the app.
Note: If the session timer is still running you will not be able to sign out, so make sure to stop the session timer on the current task first. You will learn more about the session timer in the Viewing and performing tasks section of this course.
How to sign out
To sign out, from the main app menu tap About, swipe to the bottom then tap Sign out. Tap Sign out again to confirm.
If the timer is running on a task you won’t be able to sign out.
If the timer is still running on a task tap on the session at the top of the screen, then tap End Session.
If you sign out successfully you’ll return to the launch screen of the app and will need to input your uptick server address again.
