How to find specific keys and ID numbers

ID numbers are important for things such as updating data with the Data Importer, and setting conditions for Actions and Custom Fields. This article explains how to find a specific ID number for a wide range of object types such as tasks, assets, clients, properties, etc.

For most object types you simply need to navigate or view the specific object type and then find the number in the URL like in the example below:
