If we receive a call from a party we don't normally service, how do we create an ad hoc task?

We recommend that you create a new client for the service request in order to make billing easier and be prepared if the client asks for your services again in the future.

Step 1: From the top navigation menu, select Servicing. From the drop down menu, click on Tasks.

Step 2: From the tasks page, click the green button labeled Create new task.

Step 3: Fill out the task form as you would for any scenario. See the Tasks page for more guidance on creating a task.

Step 4: In the bottom portion of the first field, you will find an option to include tags. Check the box next to the tag that reads "once-off works".

Step 5: Click the blue button labeled Save Task at the bottom of the page. You will be automatically re-directed to the Task card.

Step 6: Be sure to create and send and invoice with the proper billing details. See the Invoicing field, below the task details field.
