Written by Maddison Taubert

Remarks and Remark Types can be marked "Owner Responsible," removing them from the quoting queue.

When a remark is owner responsible, this is labelling a remark as something that is in the client's court to fix as it either isn't worth quoting, you don't offer quotes for that type of repair or you only quote that work by request.

Examples of Owner Responsible remarks is a moveable object is sitting in front of an exit door that the owner can simply fix, recommendation or informational remarks which, as a business, you've decided not to quote unless requested.

What happens when I make a remark or remark type 'Owner Responsible'?

When a remark type or individual remark is ticked, that remark will no longer sit in the quotable list which is used by the Quote Builder when raising a defect quote.

Office staff processing post visit tasks will also be flagged to if any newly raised or previously raised owner responsible remarks are still outstanding. Owner Responsible remarks will be filtered OUT of the 'Quote Required' remarks. This allows the office staff to review and contact the client accordingly - via a call, external email or a report. Uptick does not offer an out-of-the-box 'Owner responsible report' customers can dispatch or an contact workflow inside Uptick at this stage.

It's also used to filter out remarks by default from the Remark List (Customer Data > Remarks) for Service Managers using this list to quote.
