Via CSV Data Importer
For precise adjustments, avoid resetting all quantities to zero. Instead, download the current stock data, update the quantities in a spreadsheet, and re-upload the updated spreadsheet back into Uptick. This practice prevents data loss and ensures accurate inventory tracking.
Quantity: The current stock level of the product.
Product Identifier: Only one of the following columns needs to be filled to match the product in the system: product_name, product_code, product_id, or a combination of supplier_name and product_sku.
Warehouse Identifier: Only one of the following columns needs to be filled to match the warehouse: warehouse_name or warehouse_id.
Then follow the steps in How to update existing data via Uptick CSV Data Importer to import the Stock adjustment.

Recommended Steps
Bulk Transferring Inventory Without CSV Import
You can move inventory between warehouses using Uptick’s Bulk Transfer feature without relying on data imports. Follow these steps:
Select the Target Warehouse: Navigate to the warehouse from which stock will be transferred.
Initiate Bulk Transfer: Use the Bulk Transfer option, enter the quantities to be transferred.
Choose the Destination Warehouse: Specify the receiving warehouse.
Confirm the Transfer: Complete the process to move the stock. This workflow simplifies stock transfers by eliminating the need for external tools.
Performing a Stock Take
Conducting a stock take ensures that physical inventory aligns with the records in Uptick. Here’s the recommended workflow:
Prepare an Exported Stock List: Download the current stock list from the Warehouse to use as a reference.
Perform a Physical Count: Compare the listed quantities to the actual counts in the warehouse. Treat items with no count as having zero quantity.
Adjust Quantities Directly in Uptick:
In the Warehouse, select New Adjustment to access the product list.
Enter the final counts for each product (use absolute numbers rather than increments or decrements).
Add New Items: For items not currently in the system, use Add Stock to input them before adjusting counts. This process ensures accuracy by combining systematic physical counts and targeted system updates.
