App: How to pass an asset on an I&T task

How to service an asset and pass it on an I&T task

Setup

You will need the right permissions to access Uptick on the mobile device. This is typically under the Technician security group.

Any permissions with a small mobile icon next to it are related to your usage on the mobile.

You will also need:

  • To download the Workforce app (available on iTunes or Google Play store)

  • You will also need to have I&T (Inspect and Test) task created in your workspace.

How to enable Bulk Pass All assets on the App

You must select the asset types which can be bulk passed to enable this

  1. Go to Control Panel > Asset types

  2. Select the Asset type you want to bulk pass and click Edit

  3. Click Set advanced and tick Allow pass all

4. Click Save Asset Type

5. Repeat steps 1-4 for all asset types you want to bulk pass

You must have the following permission enabled in your security group:

  • Can pass assets in bulk


How to pass an asset on an I&T task on iOS

1. Sign into your Workspace on the the Workforce app. For instructions on how to sign in, click here.

2. Find and open your I&T task. You can review the task details.

There are 2 ways to see this:

  • As an appointment on the calendar on your dashboard

  • On the Tasks tab, where you can use the filters to search for your I&T task. Simply adjust your filters and type in the Task Reference or Property Name in the search bar.

3. Click on the Work tab to see the routines you are completing and all the applicable assets you must service

4. From here you will see 2 options on each asset listed:

Pass/Fail/No Test

This will display if you are are able to directly Pass/Fail/No Test your asset.

Click Pass

Start Test / No Test

This will display if you are required to answer legislative prompt questions.

Click Start Test and Pass your prompt questions

5. Continue to pass all applicable assets.

How to bulk pass assets on an I&T task on iOS

1. Make sure you have tested all the individual assets applicable for your service. Go to the Finalisation tab and click 'Bulk pass untested assets'

This will show you the assets that you can bulk pass.

Not all assets can be bulk-passed. The following service tasks or assets cannot be bulk-passed:

  • Major service Service Tasks

  • Repair Service Tasks

  • Service Tasks with Active Remarks

  • Service Tasks that have been performed

To Bulk Pass assets, this must also be enabled by your system administrator. Learn how to enable this here.

2. Click Pass All

3. If you have any remaining assets to service, you will be prompted to go back to the Work tab to service these (Pass/Fail/No Test/Start Test)

When you return to the work tab, you will only see the remaining assets you have left to service. If you want to see all assets:

  1. Click on Filters

  2. Select Results

and untick 'Not Tested', click < and Apply


How to pass an asset on an I&T task on Android

1. Sign into your Workspace on the the Workforce app. For instructions on how to sign in, click here.

2. Find and open your I&T task. You can review the task details.

There are 2 ways to see this:

3. Click on the Inspections tab to see the routines you are completing and all the applicable assets you must service

4. From here you will see 2 options on each asset listed:

This will display if you are are able to directly Pass/Fail/No Test your asset.

Click Pass

Start Test / No Test

This will display if you are required to answer legislative prompt questions.

Click Start Test and Pass your prompt questions
