How to create a defect quote from a property
1. Open the property, click Defect Quotes tab and Create quote.

2. Complete Scope of Works and click Save Defect Quote.

Insert text snippet to add formatted text for consistency and efficiency.
4. Check the Product (or select one), Description, Cost, and Sell.

Technicians should select the appropriate product for each remark; but if not, please select to automatically populate the Price, Cost and Description from Product Catalogue.
Available fields on a defect quote
Required (Ref, Expiry date, Property)

Ref: Automatically generated reference number for the quote.
Expiry date: Auto-set by the Defect Quote default expiry in the Control Panel.
Property
Optional (Description, Due date, Client, Internal Note, Additional Dates, Template, Categorisation)

Description: Short description of the quote for internal or customer reference.
Due date
Client: Leave blank to inherit Client from Property.
Internal Note: Notes to be copied across to the Task created from this Defect Quote.
Set additional dates
Date: Set the date that should appear as the created date on the quote.
Review date: Optionally set a date that can be used to filter on should you need to do any manual follow up.
