What is the Technician Scheduled Value dashboard?
The Technician Scheduled Value dashboard answers one question: how much revenue is scheduled against each of your technicians over time?
It shows the value of the work booked in to each technician, broken down by day, week, or month, so you can see how your upcoming revenue is spread across your team and across the coming weeks.
Value is attributed to a technician through the appointments booked in their name — not by who is set as the task's assigned, primary, or supporting technician.
How to access it
Go to Insights & Reporting and open Technician Scheduled Value from the Insights landing page.
What it shows
The dashboard is a table with:
One row per technician
One column for each period in your date range (a column per day, week, or month)
A grand total column showing each technician's total scheduled value across the whole range
Each cell shows the dollar value of work scheduled to that technician in that period.
Changing the view
Bucket by — choose whether each column represents a day, week, or month. The default is week.
Note: When you bucket by day, the date range is capped at 90 days from the start date to keep the table readable. The week and month views have no such limit.
Group by — group the technician rows by branch or service group, or leave them ungrouped.
Show values — choose which revenue figure to display:
Revised sell (default) — the whole-task revenue estimate. This is Uptick's current best estimate of the total revenue for the task. Learn more about Revised Sell in Profitability in Uptick.
Labour sell — only the labour portion of the task's revenue.
Filtering your data
You can filter the dashboard by:

Service group
Cost centre
Zone (if enabled in your workspace)
How is each technician's scheduled value calculated?
Each task's value is shared out evenly across every appointment on that task and the technician(s) on each appointment.
Uptick counts every appointment–technician combination across the whole life of the task, then divides the task's value equally between them. Each technician's share appears in the period when their appointment is scheduled to start.
Example: a task worth $6,000 that has 3 appointments, each with 2 technicians, has 6 appointment–technician shares. Each share is worth $1,000 ($6,000 ÷ 6), and each one is counted in the day, week, or month that its appointment is scheduled to start.
A simpler case: a $10,000 task with one appointment shared by 2 technicians splits into $5,000 each — not $10,000 each.
Because the value is always divided across every appointment and technician on the task, the totals on this dashboard always add back up to the task's full value, no matter how many appointments or technicians are involved.
A few things to keep in mind:
Cancelled appointments are not included in the calculation.
If some of a task's appointments fall outside your selected date range, they're still counted when dividing up the value (so each visible share stays the same size), but only the appointments inside your date range appear in the table.
