Occasionally there may be situations where the accounting partner integration isn't working as intended, where the alerts from the integration describes:

  • Error messages related to token expiry

  • Error messages related to invalid grants or authorisation failures

In these cases the recommended to solution is to disconnect, then reconnect your accounting.

Disconnecting the accounting partner

Before doing this, it is recommended to already be signed in to your accounting partner.

  1. Go to Control Panel > Accounting

  2. Click the down-facing arrow next to the Edit button then click Disconnect

Reconnecting the accounting partner

  1. Click Connect an organisation and select your accounting partner, selecting the same platform as the one you just disconnected.

  2. When signed in, you'll see a summary for the account you're about to connect, or for which you need to grant access to continue.

  3. You'll be taken to the configuration page of the original connection, which should retain the previous settings before disconnecting. Make sure you click Make default to set as the default integration, otherwise the option to push records to the accounting partner will not be visible.

  4. Click Save Accounting Organisation to complete the reconnection.
