Attendance Fee Products for Callout Tasks

Before creating a callout task, you need to set up attendance fee products in your Labour rates.

How to set up an attendance fee labour rate

  1. Navigate to Control Panel, search and open Labour rates.

  2. Click +Create Labour Rate or View on the existing labour rate.

  3. Complete or edit the following fields:

    1. Cost price - This is your blended average cost for this type of labour. This value is used during quoting, and updated with the individual technician's labour rate as technicians log time to a task.

    2. Included labour - Time included in the price of this rate/fee in minutes. Excludes travel.

    3. Included travel - Travel time included in the price of this rate/fee in minutes.

    4. Labour increment - Minimum amount of labour that should be billed when Included Labour is exceeded, e.g. round up to 15, 30 or 60 minute block.

  4. Expand Attendance fee... section, then tick the Attendance Fee checkbox.

  5. Click Save and add pricing to set up prices, then Save again

What happens when you create a callout task

When you select an attendance fee product during task creation, the callout fee is automatically added to the Work tab of the task. This means:

  • Field technicians don't need to manually add the fee

  • The fee is ready for invoicing immediately

  • You can track task profitability from the start
