We aim to release the Workforce apps on Monday 21st of March. Users will automatically receive this update over a seven day period.

Featured Improvements

This release brings a number of enhancements and incremental improvements to both our iOS and Android apps to help make your day more productive.

  • Asset Grouping has been improved in the Work/Inspection tab to show all inspection work that needs to be carried out for an asset. When a technician visits a site and examines an asset all the routines due are available for them to select.

  • Testing Prompts improvements Uptick Field now supports Prompt Sets. This is a new way to group and configure questions on Uptick Web along with the ability to answer all prompt questions for all routine services for the asset on the task. HVAC customers may use this to combine questions from multiple standards DA19(A) and DA19(B) as well as re-use the same prompt across multiple service levels.

Changes and Improvements

  • Dynamic forms now supports the displaying of images on a form (note that you need an internet connection for images to load). Customers wanting to show a risk matrix for a site risk assessment can now show the matrix clearly so that technicians can quickly choose the risk assessment relevant for the site.

  • New asset icons have been added to our floor plans feature. This pack includes more than 100 new icons! These will be consistent across mobile and web so that the app is more intuitive to use and an icon on the web will be same on mobile.

Showcase

Asset Grouping

When viewing routine inspection work, if an asset has multiple service levels to be carried out at the same time (e.g., Monthly and Six-monthly), these services will be shown under the asset details instead of repeating the details.

When viewing assets that are grouped together, the asset "Duplicate" feature has been updated to include all routines.

Note that the Android app will receive this change during the week of 28th March.

Testing Prompt Improvements

In conjunction with asset grouping changes, our testing prompts feature has seen some improvements to speed up data capture. When an asset has multiple servicing routines, we now display all questions for the asset in a single screen organised by Routine and Testing Prompt Set.

On Uptick Web, the Testing Prompts Set feature allows questions to be shared across routines. If the same question is asked in two routines, the app will only ask the user to complete the question once. If the question has already been asked for the asset on the task, a small blue indicator will be displayed.

In addition to these improvements, you will now be able to add multiple remarks to an answer (note that this enhancement will be released on Android in early April).

Android Only Changes

Single Sign-on

Customers who use single sign-on can now have their technicians sign into the Android app using this mechanism.
