  • Also download any invoices that are not accessible through your accounting integration

  • Close out or deactivate any non-performed tasks in FireMate.

Key information:

  • The export file will be provided to you in a zip file format - it will include 3 main parts:

    • CSV folder - containing all of the FireMate data records

    • Attachments folder - containing attachments uploaded to FireMate

    • Images folder - containing photos uploaded to FireMate

  • The final export can be requested at any time. You may choose to wait until the 1st of December OR request it prior. We will provide you with one final export

  • Due to the large number of requests there will be a waiting period for everyone to get the export processed and delivered

  • Uptick can still provide your FireMate export after the retirement date until the FireMate servers are shut down (date TBD)

  • Uptick will be able to retrieve FireMate data if absolutely required in the future if you are an Uptick customer

  • Uptick is committed to supporting its customers to fulfil any legal obligations wherever possible

  • If you would like to see a sample export of your FireMate data at any time; please request via [email protected]

Scenario 1: You have transitioned to Uptick

  • We will also be taking an archive of migrated data to be stored in Uptick workspaces in addition to the final export

  • The final export will be uploaded to your Uptick Knowledge base

  • For those transitioning to Uptick, we will also be able to generate an export from the FireMate archive after the servers are shut down

  • The export itself may be a multi-part zip or a single zip

  • We will include instructions for opening a multi part zip in the note description

  • These files will not be password protected but will be behind an Uptick security group permission so only selected users can access the data.

Scenario 2: You are transitioning away to a different software

  • We will be distributing this via a public time limited link to a zip file

  • The expiry will be 7 days, if the link expires you can request another one

  • The export may be a multi-part zip or a single zip

  • It will include instructions for opening a multi part zip in the note description

  • The zip file will be password protected with your FireMate database code

  • Uptick will only share these links with an official company email address

  • We will ask you to acknowledge once you have successfully downloaded

  • If you are not a current Uptick customer, once you have acknowledged receipt of your final export we will stop holding your data records as per data security guidelines and our usual customer offboarding processes.

FAQs

Why canโ€™t Uptick provide full PDF downloads of FireMate reports in bulk?

FireMate Desktop did not store copies of automatically generated reports, so it is not possible to provide bulk PDF downloads.

Can a full export of FireMate data be requested if we are moving to Uptick? Is there a cost for the extract?

Yes, a full export can be requested alongside the migration, and there is no additional cost for the extract.
โ€‹
โ€‹FireMate Desktop is installed on my local machine, will this continue to work?
โ€‹
No. Although the FireMate Desktop interface is installed on-premise, it still it relies on certain data and services in the cloud to function such as receiving data from the field.
