9am on the 23rd of September, we will change the Authorisation Amount on a task & billing contract to exclude tax.

What do the changes entail exactly?

We will not be changing the data already inputted into this field, we will simply be changing some wording around the field to be clearer that it should now be tax-exclusive when editing the data in this field.

Also, for repair tasks resulting from a quote or customers using the Corrigo integration, we will now input the tax-exclusive amount into this field.

What does this mean for existing tasks and billing contracts?

All existing billing contracts and tasks will not be touched.

Once the changes go live, if you were to try to update a task with an authorisation amount already on it, the data in that field will be the same data someone has inputted previously when they believed this field was tax-inclusive. However, when you view a task, the system will suggest that the amount is now tax-exclusive, even if it's not.

Until you as a company agree that you will now input the tax-exclusive amount, keep using that field as tax-inclusive.

To find all the tasks that have this amount set:

  1. Go to your task list & add a filter for Authorisation Amount

  2. In the authorisation amount filter, change Exactly to Greater Than

How can I change the data in this field to now be tax-exclusive?

Option 1
