What mobile devices are supported?

The Uptick Workforce app supports a range of mobile devices with specific minimum operating system requirements to ensure optimal performance.

iOS Devices

  • Minimum iOS version: iOS 16.0 or later

  • Compatible devices: Most iOS devices released in the last 6-7 years support this version

  • Recommended: iPads or large-screen iPhones if you'll be using geospatial features (floorplans, maps) extensively

  • Download: iOS App Store

Android Devices

  • Minimum Android version: Android 10.0 or later (released September 2019)

  • Recommended specifications:

    • 6-inch or larger screen

    • 64GB+ storage

    • 4GB+ RAM

    • Mid-to-high end devices for best performance (battery life, screen responsiveness, processing power)

  • Avoid: Devices with significant curved edges - field technicians report these are difficult to work with due to accidentally registering touches on the curved edge

Best Practices

To ensure long-term compatibility and optimal performance:

  • Purchase devices released within the last 3 years - This ensures your device will continue to work with Uptick as we release updates

  • Keep your app updated - Regular updates include performance improvements, bug fixes, and new features

  • Check device compatibility before purchasing - Verify the device meets or exceeds our minimum requirements

Web Platform

The Uptick Web Platform runs on all modern web browsers. For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome.

Minimum system requirements for web:

  • 1.5 GHz processor

  • 4-8GB RAM

  • FHD (1920x1080) display
