Assigning a Technician to a round

How to ensure your Rounds have technicians assigned to them.

  1. To assign a technician to the tasks in the round, firstly make sure that a technician is assigned to the round by looking at the Technician field. In this example, the round is unassigned so we will click on Update to assign a technician to the round.

  2. Add a technician by typing their name and selecting it from the suggested technicians.

  3. Save the round.

Uptick allows for tasks to be automatically assigned to rounds taking into consideration the service skill set required and the default geographical round assigned to a property.

Once you generate tasks for the month, the system will automatically allocate a task to a particular round and skill-set ONLY if the property is assigned to a default round.
