We aim to release this version on Friday 6th of August. Users will automatically receive this update over a seven day period.

Changes and Improvements

This release brings a number of enhancement and incremental improvements to the app which should help to make your day more productive.

  • Product search has been revamped to make it even easier to help find and select the correct product when doing onsite repairs, creating purchase orders or suggesting products for defect quoting. Filters can be applied to search for products by Supplier, Product Category (if the office uses categories) and/or Product Type (i.e if you are looking for just material, equipment and/or labour type products).

The full product description can now be viewed by tapping on the orange info button which allows the field user to find out more information about this product which can further ensure that they are selecting the correct product.

  • Base Date is now a recommended field for certain asset types for users who use our Major Servicing module as the asset's base date is used to calculate the next major servicing due dates. This means that if the base date is left blank, the user will be prompted to complete it, however, they may continue if they are unable to enter it.

  • Testing Prompts now allows you to select a current, active remark if a prompt question fails in order to cater for outstanding remarks that have still not been resolved from previous inspections. Read more about our Testing Prompts feature here.
  • Keys & Equipment information can now be added as a field that can be displayed on your task list. This will make it even quicker to determine which keys are required for a task. Note that this is only helpful to customers who use our Keys & Equipment module.

This field can be set on your task list by opening your Account settings > Task Display Details and adding "Keys & Equipment".

  • Replace Now workflow has been streamlined to improve efficiency. The feature will now automatically resolve all remarks that are of the same description on that asset once the replacement is complete. It will also automatically set the service result to pass after the above automation with the assumption that if there are any other remarks on this asset, they aren't enough to fail the asset. The Replace Now feature can now be accessed via the remark search.
  • Waze is now available as a task directions option, if the app is installed on your device.
