FAQ: What browsers are supported in Uptick?

We guarantee compatibility across all modules for any "evergreen" browser. This means we fully support:

  • Chrome (all versions - recommended)
  • Firefox (all versions)
  • Safari (all versions)

We also support the following versions of Internet Explorer across all modules:

  • Internet Explorer Edge (all versions e.g. Edge 12 and Edge 13)
  • IE11

Public facing modules include extra backwards compatibility support:

  • The reports module supports viewing reports in IE10 and above
  • The signoffs module supports submitting signoff information in IE10 and above
  • The defect quote module supports approving defect quotes in IE10 and above
  • The tendering module supports submitting a tender in IE10 and above

The minimum computer specs are the minimum computer specs suggested for Windows 10 (https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/windows/windows-10-specifications), however we recommend:

  • Processor: 1.5 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or SoC
  • RAM: 4 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 8 GB for 64-bit
  • Display: FHD (1920×1080)

You must have cookies enabled. If you do not have cookies you will receive a "CSRF verification failed" warning, which looks like this:

Advanced map features

Some of our advanced mapping features will not work on older computers even if they pass the minimum requirements. This is because our advanced mapping features use a technology called "WebGL", support for this is rapidly expanding with 95% of browsers supporting WebGL.
