How can I prevent emails coming from Uptick as being marked as spam?

By default, Uptick sends emails from the domain, but can be configured to appear to come from a domain of your choice.

Since Uptick does not control this other domain (for example,, these emails may be marked as spam. This is known as SPF (Sender Policy Framework).

Talk to your website or DNS provider, they will need to make changes to your DNS server which authorise Uptick to send emails from your domain.

They will need to add or update the SPF record with the following:

"v=spf1 ~all"


You would set this up as a TXT type entry from the domain that you are sending email from, e.g. would create a DNS entry as:

TXT "v=spf1 ~all"
